About Us

Colori del Vino was born from a simple idea: wine does not need to be complicated to be interesting.

The name means “the colours of wine,” but for us it’s less about colour and more about character. Every grape, every region, every bottle carries a different tone. And every workshop or collaboration we create is shaped by the people around the table.

Wine is culture. It is business. It is hospitality.
And it works best when all three speak to each other.

Colori del Vino is a platform for wine education, workshops, and strategic consultancy.

We work with distributors, hospitality professionals, and wineries on wine strategy. From designing thoughtful wine lists and refining brand positioning to training teams who need clarity rather than complexity.

We do not believe in generic solutions. Wine does not live in PowerPoint slides. It lives in restaurants, in service, in conversation. Any strategy worth having must work there first.

Alongside consulting, we lead wine workshops and curated tastings in Croatia and the UK for corporate clients, private groups, and people who are genuinely curious.

We take wine seriously.
Ourselves, slightly less so.

Because expertise should create confidence, not distance.

Mirela Sorić

Wine wasn’t meant to be my profession.

It began as curiosity, through travel, books, long tastings, and questions that tended to multiply rather than resolve. Over time, that curiosity turned into commitment. And eventually, into work I genuinely enjoy.

Today, I am a freelance wine consultant and educator. I hold WSET Level 3 and am a certified Italian Wine Ambassador through the Vinitaly International Academy. Formal qualifications matter. But in this field, real education is continuous, shaped by producers, regions, shifting markets, and the occasional humbling blind tasting.

I collaborate with distributors, hospitality professionals, and wineries to shape wine lists, refine brand positioning, develop offers, and train teams. Every project is approached individually, with attention to context and clarity. Wine does not exist in theory; it exists in service.

Alongside consulting, I host wine workshops and curated tastings in Croatia and the UK. They are structured and thoughtful, but never rigid. The aim is not to perform knowledge, but to make it useful.

Because expertise is most useful when it doesn’t feel like a performance.

What Are Colori del Vino Workshops Like?

Sometimes we take the classic route, iconic regions, well known grape varieties, style comparisons, even the occasional vertical tasting. Structure matters. Context matters. Every glass is there for a reason.

But quite often, I prefer a slight detour.

I’m drawn to bottles you don’t automatically recognise. Labels that aren’t shouting for attention. Wines that surprise quietly and then stay with you.

Not for the sake of being different, but for the sake of broadening perspective.

Workshops are intentionally kept small. Not to feel exclusive, but to allow space. Space for questions. For honest reactions. For changing your mind halfway through a tasting.

The atmosphere is relaxed. The thinking is thoughtful.

You won’t be overwhelmed with terminology. You will leave with a clearer sense of what you like, why you like it, and how to choose with more confidence, whether you’re opening a bottle at home or building a wine list professionally.

They’re designed for curious people. Beginners, professionals, and everyone in between.

If you enjoy wine but don’t feel the need to perform it, you’ll feel very comfortable here.
